Westminster Business Council Award Entry Workshop
Your essential guidance on how to write a winning entry
This is the first year of our Westminster Business Council Awards; we want to make it as simple and easy for you to enter as possible, which is why we’re running a workshop to offer guidance on how to make your submission worthy of shortlisting, and perhaps even winning in your chosen category!
We would say the most important thing to remember when writing your submission, is it’s not about what you believe you have done well, but the impact your story has on our judges.
In this workshop we will share with you exactly what our judges are looking for and how to impress them. We will help you define your story and shape it to perfectly match your chosen category criteria.
We will show you how to write efficiently and effectively within the entry form requirements, what ‘good content’ you need, and what evidence is required to convince the judges that your story is the most deserving winner.
The workshop will be run by Marie Grieve, Managing Director of Costello Palmer Communications: a marketing and communications consultancy specialising in digital content and high-performance strategic delivery for an award-winning global client base.
Marie has 18 years’ experience of marketing communications; her approach is one of insight-led thinking and an understanding of how the digital agenda now drives brands and decision making. Marie’s success comes from a genuine interest in her clients’ business challenges, and a belief that putting the right communications tools in place can transform an organisation and help them win new business.
Marie has been writing and winning awards for clients for many years, and her knowledge and guidance will be extremely valuable to all our Westminster Business Council Award entrants.
We look forward to welcoming you to our breakfast workshop.
